Lani Shades fulfills each and every order with Aloha from Honolulu, Hawaii. Our standard free domestic and international shipping methods for retail orders is with USPS Ground Advantage or First Class International Mail.
For an additional fee, expedited shipping with UPS or FedEx is available - please request this in your order notes and you will be invoiced separately.
All orders are fulfilled by Lani Shades within 2 business days from the time of your order unless back ordered or otherwise noted. You will receive a message when your order is sent out by Lani Shades with a link for USPS tracking. The USPS states that Ground Advantage packages are normally delivered within 2 to 5 business days once the package is received by USPS. However, sometimes the USPS has delays that are out of our company's control, so please consider this if your order is time sensitive and allow for up to two weeks for delivery in the US. If for some reason your order is lost or is more than one month late, lost or damaged by USPS, we can file a claim with USPS and process a refund for your order once the claim is settled.
* Please note regarding USPS tracking, often the package is only scanned when it is picked up and when it is delivered so it might show that your package is still in Hawaii when it might actually be closer to you.
Free shipping for international orders is sent via USPS First Class Mail International. This can often take up to a month to deliver so we highly recommend for international orders to upgrade to UPS or FedEx shipping services. For international orders, you will receive a follow up email when your order is received to confirm your shipping preferences and we will wait up to 5 business days for your response before sending USPS, so it might take even longer. Please look out for this email from us after you place your order. If you would like to upgrade to UPS or FedEx shipping, we will send you an invoice and link for additional charges. Lani Shades has no way of contacting your local post office if your shipment has been held for any reason so please contact them first if USPS tracking shows it is being held. We will work as best we can through our local Hawaii USPS office to get your shipment delivered to you locally but ultimately we can only process a refund due to shipping issues once a claim has been settled with USPS.
Please ship your returns (at your expense, please) via USPS to the address below and we will send your replacement to you within 5 business days via USPS at our expense.

Lani Shades makes a point to reduce waste and single use plastic in the shipping process. Our manufacturing partners are also committed to reducing waste and avoiding single use plastics. Your Lani's are sent in their sturdy case carefully and securely wrapped in protective eco-friendly paper packaging. Please reduce, reuse and recycle!

These sunglasses are AMAZING! I spend all day conducting conservation field work on remote islands where eye protection is essential. No sunglasses ever looked so fetching while protecting against sun and sand. They are light weight, stay on my face while boating, and come with a beautiful case to store them in while I rest up for the next days' adventures. Part of my work is removing plastic marine debris from beaches and I that is why I searched for a bamboo frame. I sure am glad I found Lani who shares in my passion for clean oceans! We love basking in the sun near the ocean on a sunny summer day, so it is amazing that my boyfriend and I can now wear shades with ease. I enjoy surfing and sailing. I have several of pairs of sunglasses in my drawer. My Lani Shades however become my go to pair. They’re light, comfortable to wear. The polarized lenses reduces glare from the sun on the horizon on reflection from the ocean. Eagerly awaiting my recently ordered second pair of Lani Shades.

Big fan of my recent purchase of the Lani Ohe Classic shades. They are super unique and eye catching, matching with a nice blazer and jeans. When out on the town in Tokyo, often tell people ask where I got them and compliment my look. When I'm out navigating the canals in my urban kayak, I can rest assured as they fit my face snugly and they float!

Lost my sun glasses while swimming at the beach a few days ago, while looking for a new pair, I found Lani Shades. I never had wooden glasses before, but these are great! They float, light weight and feel great! Thank you! Definitely recommend
I love how lightweight and comfortable they are. The hinges give just the right amount of pressure to stay on without causing discomfort. The lenses are really high quality too. They’re bamboo but they don’t even really look like it since they’re dyed really well.
Picked these up a few weeks ago and have gotten plenty compliments. The bamboo finish feels and looks great! Definitely would recommend.
I love the sunglasses! They’re so simple, but cute. The best part is they float and they’re wooden. I’ve already dropped them in the water at the dock and was able to easily retrieve them!
These glasses are much lighter weight than any I have used in the past. They also don't get super hot when leave them on the dash or in the sun. All my glasses in the past roast my face when I put them on if they have been left in the sun. The lenses are great, I really like the color and the polarization. The only thing better than the glasses was the service. Five stars all around.
Hi. I recently purchased my Lani shades and went sailing with them in Oahu. I jumped into the water and loved how they stayed snug on my face as I swam about in the ocean. I def reco these for any curious water babies.
