The Lani Ohe Bamboo Main Collection includes the signature Eddie style, the stylish Moana, Waimea and Kahala styles and our hot new Makani styles. Lani Shades bamboo sunglasses come in classic (natural) bamboo and durably dyed: mauka (brown - land), makai (ocean - teal/ blue), Iwa (frigate bird - black), Ao (cloud - white) and Ono (delicious pink) with a natural wax coating to protect from moisture.

These sunglasses are AMAZING! I spend all day conducting conservation field work on remote islands where eye protection is essential. No sunglasses ever looked so fetching while protecting against sun and sand. They are light weight, stay on my face while boating, and come with a beautiful case to store them in while I rest up for the next days' adventures. Part of my work is removing plastic marine debris from beaches and I that is why I searched for a bamboo frame. I sure am glad I found Lani who shares in my passion for clean oceans! We love basking in the sun near the ocean on a sunny summer day, so it is amazing that my boyfriend and I can now wear shades with ease. We can wear it to protect our eyes from the hot sun and we can wear it in the water to cool us down. If it drops, then it floats! How amazing is that! Wearing shades is so different now. I enjoy surfing and sailing. I have several of pairs of sunglasses in my drawer. My Lani Shades however become my go to pair. They’re light, comfortable to wear. The polarized lenses reduces glare from the sun on the horizon on reflection from the ocean. Eagerly awaiting my recently ordered second pair of Lani Shades.

Big fan of my recent purchase of the Lani Ohe Classic shades. They are super unique and eye catching, matching with a nice blazer and jeans. When out on the town in Tokyo, often tell people ask where I got them and compliment my look. When I'm out navigating the canals in my urban kayak, I can rest assured as they fit my face snugly and they float!

Lost my sun glasses while swimming at the beach a few days ago, while looking for a new pair, I found Lani Shades. I never had wooden glasses before, but these are great! They float, light weight and feel great! Thank you! Definitely recommend
I love how lightweight and comfortable they are. The hinges give just the right amount of pressure to stay on without causing discomfort. The lenses are really high quality too. They’re bamboo but they don’t even really look like it since they’re dyed really well.
Picked these up a few weeks ago and have gotten plenty compliments. The bamboo finish feels and looks great! Definitely would recommend.
I love the sunglasses! They’re so simple, but cute. The best part is they float and they’re wooden. I’ve already dropped them in the water at the dock and was able to easily retrieve them!
These glasses are much lighter weight than any I have used in the past. They also don't get super hot when leave them on the dash or in the sun. All my glasses in the past roast my face when I put them on if they have been left in the sun. The lenses are great, I really like the color and the polarization. The only thing better than the glasses was the service. Five stars all around.
Hi. I recently purchased my Lani shades and went sailing with them in Oahu. I jumped into the water and loved how they stayed snug on my face as I swam about in the ocean. I def reco these for any curious water babies.
