Ohe Bamboo Collection - Lani Shades

Lani means "sky" and Ohe means "bamboo" and in the Hawaiian language. Though not indigenous, bamboo grows throughout the Hawaiian islands including the bamboo forests of Manoa Falls trail on Oahu. Bamboo is also one of the fastest growing plants and is lightweight, strong and sustainably grown throughout the world. Because of its lightweight, Lani Shades bamboo sunglasses are also the most buoyant and easily float in water. We love bamboo!

The Lani Shades Ohe Bamboo Collection includes our signature Eddie style, exclusive Moana, Waimea and Kahala styles and our new Makani sport styles. Lani Shades bamboo and wood sunglasses frames float and if they float away, that's less plastic on the beaches and in the oceans that we love. Each pair of sunglasses in the Lani Shades Ohe Bamboo Collection sold also plants a tree through our partnership with One Tree Planted and 2% of sales go to 4ocean to help clean up plastic pollution.
